Dunlap Fire and Rescue

On January 3, 1893, the council and mayor of the Town of Dunlap set forth and adopted Ordinance #21 "Organizing a Fire Department" for the Town of Dunlap. This first fire department was to have 25 members. Above is one of the first photos taken of Dunlap Fire Department.

The present day fire department has the following vehicles: 1999 Chevy Ambulance, 1985 Ford Ambulance, 2003 Kenworth Pumper, 1992 Ford tanker 4x4 fire truck, 1984 GMC pumper fire truck, 1981 Chevy 4x4 fast attack fire truck, 1976 Dodge 4x4 pickup, 1952 6x6 6wd tanker fire truck.
